The Hoagland Volunteer Fire and EMS has been serving Hoagland and surrounding communities for over a combined 100 years.  This is a Tradition Of Service that is made possible by both the support of the community we serve and the families we protect.   This department is not just a group of individuals with nothing better to do.  This is a brave and heroic family that is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  All members are volunteers, which means we receive no income or monetary reward for what we do.  These men and women are truly a unique breed. So the next time you hear the siren go off or see our ambulance in route to a call, pause for a moment and be proud.  The department that you support and the neighbors you live by are continuing that Tradition Of Service that began so long ago.
